Education/Vendor Work Team   
This team secures sites, dates and times of educational meetings and workshops. Members plan educational events at various locations across the state, aid in the preparation of the application for contact hours and make a calendar of events available for publication. In addition, this work team collaborates with health care vendors to arrange sponsorship for educational events, speakers and materials.

Historical Work Team

 
This team prepares and maintains a History of the Society from the date of its founding to the present. The history is available for review by Society members. In addition, this work team solicits articles and information to publish MESPAN’s newsletter, Wake ME Up, at least quarterly as a means to assure that information about MESPAN events and pertinent aspects of perianesthesia care.
Scholarships/Nominations Work Team  
This team determines the MESPAN scholarship application deadlines, collects applications, and makes awards to recipients based on review of their application packets. It also secures names for official positions which are filled annually, prepares and sends ballots when appropriate, and prepares for voting at meetings and workshops when necessary.
Treasurer/Membership Work Team  
This team strives to retain and increase the membership of this society through statewide correspondence promoting MESPAN. In collaboration with the Board of Directors, it is responsible for the promotion of MESPAN and ASPAN membership, as well as to be stewards of MESPAN’s financial accounts.
Website/Newsletter Work Team  
This team serves to maintain and update MESPAN’s website, Facebook and other digital means of communication with MESPAN Membership in collaboration with the board and website administrators.
